James Roe returns for his fifth INDY NXT by Firestone season in 2026 and his first with Chip Ganassi Racing. He emigrated from Ireland to the U.S. at 19 and began racing at 15, with experience in FIA F4 UAE, F2000, FIA Formula Regional Americas and USF Pro 2000. Roe aims to advance to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge. Off track, he lives in Indianapolis, enjoys Notre Dame football and works with Ireland Funds, a nonprofit supporting Irish social programs, including sports initiatives.
