Josh Pierson enters his third full-time INDY NXT by Firestone season in 2026 and his first with Andretti Global. The Portland, Oregon native debuted in 2023 and had his most successful campaign in 2025, scoring two podiums and 11 top-10 finishes to place sixth in the championship. Pierson also competed in F1600 in 2020, U.S. F2000 in 2020–21 and the 2025 Formula Regional Oceania Championship, earning multiple podiums and consistently finishing in the top 10. He has experience in sports car racing, including IMSA and the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2022–23, capturing multiple podiums and competing twice in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with a best finish of 10th.
