Gold Coast, Australia native Lochie Hughes returns to Andretti Global for his second INDY NXT by Firestone season in 2026 after an impressive rookie campaign. In 2025, Hughes collected two wins, two poles, eight podiums, 54 lead laps and 12 top-10 finishes, including a victory from his first career pole at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course and a charge from fifth to first in his oval debut at World Wide Technology Raceway. His consistent performances earned him third in the championship. Hughes previously won the 2024 USF Pro 2000 Championship.
