Italian Matteo Nannini returns to INDY NXT by Firestone for the 2026 season. He won the 2019 Formula 4 UAE Championship at age 16, claiming seven victories and the title by 48 points. Nannini then competed in Formula 3 in 2020 and 2021, capturing a win in Hungary in 2021, before moving to the ARCA Menards Series in 2022. He made his INDY NXT debut in 2023 with Juncos Hollinger Racing, earning a win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway before parting ways with the team midseason. In 2025, Nannini launched ENVE Motorsports, which competed in the final race of the USF2000 Championship season, finishing 15th.
