Polish driver Tymek Kucharczyk completed his rookie season in INDY NXT by Firestone with HMD Motorsports in 2026, racing in America for the first time. The 20-year-old earned two wins, one pole and 12 top-five finishes to finish third in the championship standings.
Kucharczyk became the first Polish driver to compete in the INDYCAR development series after a dominant 2025 campaign, winning the Euroformula Open Championship with BVM Racing. He began karting at age 5 and quickly emerged as a standout talent. His formula racing career includes a third-place finish in the 2022 F4 Spanish Championship with one win and 12 podiums, followed by two seasons in the GB3 Championship, where he earned four wins, three poles and third in the championship standings.
